The Truth About my Page...
Im not Really a Rockstar. There... I Said it.
I am a mom.... so that part is not a lie. Arent you proud?? I really am crazy about anything music. People, paintings, instruments.... etc... I Love meeting musicians. I love hearing music, how it flows in and out.. how the notes link together, chasing eachother, dancing together, it is such an intimate dance and a true representation of our father. How perfect in unity he is.
I have danced with music all my life, whether writing it, singing it, performing for a talent show, church event or coffee shop... it has been my get away. When I turned my back on God... I lost my interest... but when I came back to him, it was like i found my soul mate. And there I found music... it wooed me, danced with me... and I fell in love again.
My husband, also a musician absolutely completes me in this.. I write and sing, he makes the melodies and plays guitar.. His first name Angel.. and mine Angelique.... quite literally a match made in heaven. I love Gods sense of humor... he made me after all... and then paired me up with a guitarist, passion, purpose and three charming neurotic daughters... apples that dont fall far from the tree at all!! My oldest is an artist. She draws, and paints, and writes all day! My middle is a singer/dancer and often belts out random songs out of nowhere. Along with doing ballerina like steps with them, and my youngest... who is almost one, is already singing and boppin whenever music comes on!
In my head I perform for thousands of people, people who love God, and people who love me.. and the judgements are far away... they dont care that my voice isnt actually that of an angel, but they hear my heart in my music and know that Im the real deal... So really this blog is my aspirations and my dreams... lived out daily for you to enjoy... and I hope you do!!
